Study of Fulebao I on production performance
and diarrhea prevention of piglet




 

Fulebao I is pure natural plant additive, which was achieved by many Chinese herb professors in graduate school of wuxi zhengda poultry co.ltd. It has a great prescription, based on advanced distilling technic to obtain high effect and stable gene which can prevent disease and promote growth; the dosage of this product is very small, and no leftover, would not occur medicinal resistance; with good affect on controlling diseases in digestive canal a and good affect on promoting absorbing and using nutrition.

Function of Fulebao I include: Prevent and cure piglets’ red diarrhea, white diarrhea, yellow diarrhea, virus enteritis, and diarrhea caused by such factors as rotavirus, swine fever, high feed protein, high fattiness in latex; ablactation stress, weather saltation and soon on. Prevent poultry’s bacilluscoli, virus enteritis, duck virus enteritis, peritonitis and flocks and herds’ gastroenteritis, diarrhea. With nature sweet taste, easily to digest, improve digestion function and promote the usage of feed. No incompatibility, no antagonism with any additions. Improve the color of the animals’ skin, meat and the taste. The most important character of Fulebao I is which is Safe, efficient, nature, no toxic residence, no medical tolerance, can totally replace the antibiotic in feed.

To test the effect of Fulebao I on the intestnal disease prevention and production performance, Wuxi Zhengda poultry Co, Ltd design two experiments, compare Fulebao I to antibiotics, result shows below:

 

 

Test 1 Effect of Fulebao I on production performance of piglet

 

1 material and method

1.1 animal and design

9 duroc × landrace × large wthite sows devided into 3 groups based on birth No. and expected date of Childbirth , each group with 3 repeats. Take piglets as trial animal, Treatment as table 1. Test for 32 days, from 7 day age to 38 day age.

1.3 feeding and management

From 7 day age piglet were feeding feed powder and weaned on 25day age. Diet was same 25~38 day.
Piglets were weighted on 7 day, 25 day and 38 day age. Record feed intake and diarrhea during the experiment.

 

 

2 Result and analysis

2.1 Effect of treatmeant on weight gain, show as table 3.

From table 3 we can find: 7~25 day, the average daily gain (ADG) of antibiotic group, 350 ppm group and 500ppm group is 252.8, 252.8 and 234.4 g/day respectively. The ADG of 500ppm group is little lower than the other two group pherhaps for less lactation of the sows of 500 ppm group. 25~38 day, compare to the antibiotic group, the ADG of 350 ppm and 500 ppm group increase 9.06% and14.38% respectively. The result show that Fulebao I is better than normal antibiotic in resisting weanning stress, reduce the effect of weanning tress on growth of piglet.

Table 4 shows the comparion of antibiotic and Fulebao I on feed intake (FI) and feed gain ratio (FGR). The main diet of piglet of 7~25 day age is milk, so the feed intake is meanless. 25~38 day, the feed intake of 500 ppm group is higher than the other two group. compare to the antibiotic group, the FGR of 350 ppm and 500ppm group reduce 7.4% and 0.81%, that means Fulebao I has better growth promotion effect than normal antibiotic during weanning period.

 


2.3 Effect of treatment on diarrhea, show as table 5.

Table 5 shows diarrhea of the three groups. 7~25 day, the diarrhea rate of antibiotic group and 350 ppm group is almost same, both higher than 500ppm group; consider the whole stage (7~38day), the result is same. That means 500 ppm Fulebao in feed show very good efficiency to prevent diarrhea, even than the normal antibiotic combination (Kitasamycin 40ppm+colistin 50ppm+olaquindox 50 ppm ).

 

 

Test 2 Effect of Fulebao I on production performance of piglet

 

1 material and method

1.1 animal and design

120 duroc × landrace × large wthite piglets, average weights about 8 kg, randomly devided into 3 groups, each group with 4 repeats, each repeat with 10 heads. Group 1 as control just fed base diet, group 2 added antibiotic include salinomycin 10%,colistin 10% and aureomycin 15%, group 3 added Fulebao I. Detail as table 6, test for 90 days.

1.2 Feeding and management

10 piglets in one pen, each group fed the same diet. Weighed piglet in first, 30th and 60th day. Record feed intake and diarrhea during the experiment.

 

 

2 Result and analysis

2.1 Effect of treatment on weight gain of pig, show as table 7.

Table 7 shows the comparion of average daily gain (ADG) and feed gain ratio (FGR) of the three groups. There is no significant difference (p>0.05) of the ADG 1~30 day between the three groups; ADG 30~90 day and 1~90 day of antibiotic group and Fulebao group are significant higher (p<0.05) than that of control group. There’s no difference of the ADG 1~30, 30~90 and 1~90 day between antibiotic and Fulebao Group, but ADG of Fulebao I group show higher trend than that of antibiotic group. As for FGR 1~30 and 1~90 day, there’s no significant difference (P>0.05) betweew the three groups, but FGR of control group is the highest, while FGR of Fulebao group is much lower. Compare to the control, FGR 30~90 day of antibiotic group and Fulebao group is significantly lower (P<0.05), and FGR 30~90 day of Fulebao group is lower than antibiotic, though the difference is not significant (P>0.05). The result shows Fulebao I is efficiencient on growth promotion, even better than normal antibiotic (Salinomycin, colistin and Aureomycin).

Table 8 shows the comparion of diarrhea rate of the three groups. No matter 1~30 or 30~90 day, the diarrhea rate of antibiotic and Fulebao group is lower than control. Fulebao I shows very good effect on prevent intestinal disease.

 

 

Analysis and discussion

 


1 Material and ingredient of Fulebao I

The material of Fulebao include 8 kinds of plants that can resist and kill bacteria, 3 kinds of plants that can resist viruses and promote immunity, 4 kinds of plants that can decompose fat and promote anti-stress. Active components include immune polysaccharides, immunomodulator PHA, alkaloid, glycoside, tannin, terpene etc. Immunomodulator PHA, flavone,alkaloid are multi-functional ingredients which not only can improve immunity by activate T and B Cell, but can kill pathogenic microorganism, such as E.Coli, salmonella and bacillus dysenteriae,prevent and cure diarrhea.
Meanwhile, alkaloid, aromatic matter in fulebao I can stimulat digestive system, fasten the squirm of gastro-intestine, improve the secretion of gastric and intestinal juice, thus to improve the feed digestive retio and feed conversion ratio.

 


2 Production technics of Fulebao I

The manufactureing process of Fulebao I include cleaning, comminuting, decocting, water distilling, alcohol distilling, consentrating and spray drying. Water and alcohol distilling guarantee all functional ingredients be isalated out; spray drying insures these functional matters concentrated in the small quantity of powder, that why adding less than 500 ppm Fulebao I in feed can rech good effect of preventing disease and improving production performance.

 


3 Usage suggestions

From tast 1 and test 2 we can drow a conclusion that the best addition level of Fulebao I for piglet lesss than 15kg is 500g/ton feed, for piglet after weaning is 300~350g/ton feed. Felebao I is better than normal antibiotic in preventing intestinal disease and improving production performance. Especially be applicable for animals that feed antibiotic for long time and has caused antibiotic resistance of pathogenic microbe.
